We offer a single pill type of medication that is effective when taken within 72/120 hours of when the medication is needed.

It is said that the contraceptive rate is 99.3% when taken within 48 hours and about 97% within 72 hours.

The earlier you take the pill, the more effective it will be, so please take it as soon as you receive it.

Side effects of the Morning after-pill

The most commonly reported side effects include nausea, headache, abnormal
vaginal bleeding.
You don’t need to worry about the abnormal vaginal bleeding very much,
because it is caused by the change of the body’s hormonal dynamics.
If you are worried about nausea, non-prescription nausea drugs may be used
in combination.

A. No, you do not need to show your insurance card since the treatment is self-funded.

Q.What is the probability of contraception?
A.The overall contraceptive rate is said to be about 97% when taken within 72 hours of when the medication is needed.

Q. Why does the after-pill provide contraception?
A. It is believed to suppress ovulation mainly by changing the hormonal dynamics in the body. It is also believed to prevent pregnancy by altering the endometrium and inhibiting implantation of a fertilized egg in the uterus. Of course, the expected effect is not 100%, and this is only an emergency measure.

Q.Can you mail the medicine?
A. Yes, we can also mail medications to you (additional cost +1,500JPY). We recommend that you pick up the medication in person at clinic if possible, as early dose is more effective.

Q.Is it possible to pick up the medicine on the same day?
A.Yes, it is possible to receive the medication on the same day, although you need to come and pick it up in person at the operating clinic (5 minutes walk from Akihabara/Kanda Station, Tokyo) . When sending by post, same-day delivery is possible if you can consult ,before weekday:15:30, weekend:16:30 but please check the schedule.

Q. To what areas is the delivery service available?
A. Basically, we can deliver within Japan, but please be sure to check the arrival time, as the earlier the medicine is taken, the more effective it will be.
